Since I’ve committed to doing the Woven Existence project, I need a lot of reference photos. In spring I took photos of the meadow at Craggy Bald on what turned out to be a cool misty April day--an unexpected surprise. For summer photos I headed to the mountains on yet another camping trip, this time with my husband and two dogs. The dogs are not good campers. During the night the larger dog kept stealing my bed while the toy poodle made it his business to patrol the inside perimeters of the tent. Here's one of the studies I’ve made from the photos. Study for Fall. Oil on canvas.
