For the past couple weeks I've been working on a painting for the show "Portraits of Self" that opens this week at The Creative Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.  This is the result.

Mother's Day Gift

Thank you to everyone who stopped by on a beautiful spring weekend  to see my Spring Studio Art Show.  Visitors were treated to a free signed print of my artwork.  Several told me later how much they enjoyed receiving the print and some said they had given the print to their mother for Mother's Day. I was most touched, though, by the young girl who thoughtfully selected and bought a small framed painting as a Mother's Day gift for her mom.
