Beginning September 1st, I’ll be participating in the Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge, hosted by Leslie Byrd Saeta. The idea is to finish one painting everyday during the month of September. I took this challenge last year for the first time and even though I finished three paintings shy of thirty, I was amazed by how much I was able to accomplish. It caused me to stretch and grow as an artist in ways I never imagined. Until then, I had not finished a painting in one day!
This year I hope to finish all thirty paintings. You can follow my progress here . If you would like to join the challenge or see artwork by all the participants, one of my favorite parts of the challenge, please visit Leslie Byrd Saeta’s blog called Slices of Life.
