As a change from smaller works and in preparation for my Solo Show, I've been painting a few larger size canvases. This is the latest one, finished on Wednesday. The painting was inspired by a scene I saw while taking a stroll on the walking path at Burmil Park one late afternoon. I love the way the patches of light fall across the shaded path and how the opening in the trees ahead glows with light. In Shadow and Light
