I am so delighted to have come across a very special type of poinsettia when I was in Clemmons a few weeks ago. I was picking up my paintings from the Annual Joe Cagle Memorial Juried Art Competition and stopped by the Clemmons Country Store on my way back. That's where I found this beautiful and very artistic looking poinsettia with the cultivar name of "Jingle Bells". I just love it!

Thank you so much to all who stopped by the Holiday Open House Art Show! It was great to see old friends and to meet many new people. The love and appreciation of art spans all generations and it was wonderful to see that in action during this year's show.
Here's one wall of my studio with landscapes and small paintings of children from the September Painting Challenge, all nicely framed.
The tree is up and decorated. Only a one day til this year's Holiday Open House Art Show! There's a flurry of activity around here in preparation for the big day.
I finished this watercolor last night which was a fun project begun as the leaves started to turn colors. It will be featured at my Holiday Open House Art Show. Autumn Rhapsody
