February Painting a Day Challenge

Tomorrow, Lou Ann Peters and I begin a Painting a Day Challenge for the month of February! Look for a new painting each day this coming month. The last time I did a similar challenge, in September 2014, I finished 27 paintings out of 30. How well will I do this time?

Collage

Celestial Symphony

Sometimes, for a change, I like to make paper collages. It's a completely different way of working than when I paint. Painting realistic subjects takes a great deal of concentration and observation. When I make a collage, it feels more like a meditation. Here's one I did last year.
