Hello!
A friend invited me to the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival in Burnsville, North Carolina. Enticed by mountain scenery, camaraderie, an interest in writing and a sense of possibility, I went. And I had a wonderful time! Here I am during an interactive "Town Building" session with author Marjorie Hudson at far right and our teacher, Jubal Tiner, standing at the back. The talk by well known author Ann B. Ross was wonderful, too (see the article Author Ann Ross & the Miss Julia Stories). Many thanks to Tanya Gold for taking the photo and inviting me to the festival! ~ Annette
