Day 7 - Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days

This summer I spent a few refreshing days on Mt.Pisgah in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina.  It brought back many happy childhood memories of camping at Mt. Pisgah campground with my family.  I especially love the gentle curves of these mountians and the way they march on and on into the distance. As we waited to be seated for dinner at  Mt. Pisgah Inn one evening, I had a  wonderful view of the sun settting over the mountains. 

Today I painted two scenes from that trip, placing the canvases side by side on my easel and painting both at the same time.
