Here are some beautiful roses I saw on Rose Hill in Salzburg last summer. They had the most glorious fragrance that wafted down the hill and met me before I even saw them! This painting took a very long time - I've been painting rose petals and leaves for days and days. It was very challenging since I haven't painted so many flowers in a close up scene. It was worth the effort, though, and I'm pleased I tried something new. Rose Delight
