The February Painting a Day Challenge has ended and now it's time to take stock. In total, I did 17 paintings and one collage. While I had hoped to paint much more, February was an unexpectedly eventful month. Still, I'm so glad I took the challenge and I'm pleased with what I accomplished.
Besides creating over a dozen new paintings, I also gained a number of interesting insights into my work which can help me improve my approach to painting. Most exciting for me, though, are the seeds for future projects that seem to be germinating from the experience.
